#8553 On the petition of David and Maralee Feldman, record owners of the subject
property located at 23175 W. Lake Shore Drive, Antioch, Illinois approximately 0.09
acres, who seek the following variances from the requirements of the Lake County
Code and any other zoning relief as required: 1) Reduce the street yard setback from
4.90 feet to 0.63 feet to accommodate the construction of a detached garage; 2)
Reduce the west side yard setback from 7 feet to 5.40 feet to accommodate the
construction of a detached garage; 3) Reduce the water’s edge setback from 30 feet to
11.66 feet to accommodate the construction of a detached garage; 4) Reduce the
street yard setback from 4.90 feet to 0 feet to alleviate the nonconforming status of the
existing single family home; 5) Reduce the east side yard setback from 11.30 feet to
9.03 feet to alleviate the nonconforming status of the existing single family home; 6)
Reduce the water’s edge setback from 30 feet to 9.50 feet to alleviate the
nonconforming status of the existing single family home; 7) Reduce the water’s edge
setback from 20 feet to 6 feet to alleviate the nonconforming status of the existing open
deck.
