Wildwood Park District Committee of the Whole met July 10.
Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:

Absent: Commissioner David Rupp
Park District Staff Present: Colleen Broderick, Executive Director
Public Comment Brian Frederiksen - Thanked Colleen Broderick and Frank Hahn for the Paddle the Lake event held on Saturday, July 8th. Brian gave pictures to the Commissioners. Stated you could not be on the lake two years ago and today people are on the lake. Informed the Commissioners he spoke with someone in the neighborhood who didn't realize Valley Lake was open for business and suggested the Park District communicate to people that Valley Lake can be used.
Commissioner Kowalski replied that maybe the Walley Lake Committee can walk around and let people know the lake can be used,
WSRA Report Director Broderick informed the Commissioners there was a WSRA Board meeting today. WSRA has all of their summer camps and programs going.
Committee Items
A. GLCC: Commissioner Rupp was not in attendance to give report.
B. Valley Lake: Commissioner Bundalo informed the Board the Committee is in the
process of collecting information and formulating a plan to manage the lake. The Committee will also be handing out flyers informing the residents what is happening with the lake.
C. Boat Ramp: Commissioner Nelson informed the Commissioners that she has
viewed both boat ramps and have talked with residents. The Boat Ramp Committee will have its first meeting on Thursday, July 13 at 4:00pm and will be focusing on the boat ramp at Sunset Park including the sea wall next to the boat ramp. The Committee will be meeting at the Rule Office. Commissioner Kowalski asked how many companies the Committee is working with and Commissioner Nelson replied the Park District will complete the specifications prior to contacting companies to submit a bid.
Unfinished Business
A. Committee Meetings: Commissioner Bundalo wanted to discuss Committee
Meetings when all the Commissioners are at the meeting. This will be tabled until the next meeting since Commissioner Rupp is absent.
New Business
A. Audit: Director Broderick informed the Commissioners the audit was handed out at
today's meeting. The Board can review this week and ask staff from Lauterbach & Amen questions at next week's Board Meeting. Director Broderick will confirm Lauterbach & Amen attendance at the next meeting.
B. Annual Treasurer's Report: Director Broderick informed the Board the Annual
Treasurer's Report was prepared and in the Board packet. Commissioner Nelson informed the Commissioners she has reviewed the report and the numbers do match the financial information.
Executive Session: Commissioner Kowalski motioned, seconded by Commissioner Neel to move into Executive Session for the purpose to review Executive Session Minutes at 6:17pm.
The Board returned from Executive Session to the Committee of the Whole Meeting at 6:27pm.
Adjournment: Commissioner Kowalski motioned, second by Commissioner Nelson to adjourn the meeting at 6:28pm.
