The calls in Barrington included 14 fires - eight structure fires, one vehicle fire and five other fires.
In all, the department saw $36,000 in fire loss - or about $2,571 per fire.
The department also received 363 false calls, including four malicious calls and 359 other false calls.
The Barrington Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has 18 active employees and 32 retired or inactive employees, was $247,732 in debt as of December 2015, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $17,695 for every fire in 2016.
