Tom Weber's campaign for the 64th District has garnered another powerful voice: former U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh.
Walsh, now a nationally syndicated radio talk show host, said Weber will work harder than anyone to help the people of Illinois, according to a press release.
"More than anything right now, Illinois needs independent fighters,” Walsh said. "People who will go down to Springfield and fight for Illinois taxpayers. Tom will be that fighter. I've known Tom for seven years, he's a true limited government Conservative. And he is so accessible to his constituents. He's what the people of this district need."

Weber is running to replace Rep. Barbara Wheeler (R-Crystal Lake), who is retiring.
“I am honored to have the endorsement of Congressman Joe Walsh,” Weber said in the press release. “Joe and I both agree that Illinois is worth fighting for. I will be a strong voice for the residents of District 64 in Springfield.”
Weber grew up in Lake County and has been active in local politics for many years.
The 64th District covers parts of Lake and McHenry counties.
