Former Grayslake mayor endorses Idstein for state House District 62

Vote 07

Ken Idstein, Republican candidate for the District 62 state House seat, has been endorsed by former Grayslake Mayor Tim Perry.

“I have known Ken Idstein for over 20 years and have worked with him in many different community service and professional activities,” Perry said in a press release. “I have seen him work as a volunteer for, and active member of, several community service organizations in our community of Grayslake. During his 30+ year professional career in Grayslake he has worked to serve the needs of residents of the Grayslake area. He has lived, worked, volunteered, and raised a family in the community for his entire life.”

Idstein has also received endorsements from former Illinois House Assistant Minority Leader JoAnn Osmond, former Illinois House Majority Leader Robert Churchill, former Lake County Coroner Barbara Richardson and Grayslake Trustee Elizabeth Davies.

“I am honored to have the support of these established public officials,” Idstein said. “They have served our community well and I admire them as role models.”
