The holidays are coming and to get in the spirit, the Women’s Republican Club of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff is slated to hold its Christmas Luncheon Benefit on Dec. 2 in Highland Park.
Featured speaker for the event will be Dan Proft, radio talk show host with AM 560, a release form the organizers said. An as yet unnamed speaker will also be on hand to present the Women’s Republican Club annual President’s Award.
The gathering, being held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Exmoor Country Club, will include a three-course luncheon and complimentary valet parking. A cash bar will be made available.
The cost of the event is $60, or $80 including membership to the club; $50 for attendees under 40 years old. RSVPs are encouraged.
