Motion to authorize staff to draft an ordinance granting a variation to Section 20.52.060 permitting Home Depot to operate outdoor sales and display areas as shown on the attached site plan, with the following conditions:
a. A 5-foot wide walkway between the sidewalk merchandise and the tactile pavement strip must be kept clear at all times;
b. A pedestrian crosswalk must be painted between the Garden Center and the Seasonal Sales and Display area;
c. Within one year of approval of this variation, Home Depot must submit a landscape plan to be approved by Staff that shows dense evergreen plantings at least 8 feet in height installed at the rear corner of the property (as indicated on the site plan), which must also be installed within one year of approval of this variation; and
d. Combustible materials must not be stored against the rear wall of the store
4. BIG Grant -- Lakeside Recreation Center, 900 South Lake Street
Motion to adopt a Resolution Approving Business Incentive Grant Application for sign improvements for the Property at 900 South Lake Street, Mundelein, Illinois in an amount not-to-exceed $5,000.00.
