The Lake County Republican Central Committee has begun the job of mailing out ballots to those who have requested them for the March 20, election.
In a press release addressed to “GOP leaders,” Chairman Mark Shaw alerted “as we have done in the past few election cycles, we are providing access to any Republican candidate daily lists of those who have requested to vote by mail. These lists are broken down by district, so it is very easy to find the voters in your area who will be voting by mail.”
Those wishing to have access to the lists are advised to email tom@a-s.gop, and include their name and the email address of where they would like to have the Dropbox invitation that will allow access sent to.
Finally, those with comments, concerns or suggestions for how the Lake County Republican Central Committee can better assist 2018 GOP candidates are encouraged to email Shaw directly.
The Lake County Clerk’s office is also now allowing voters to apply to cast their vote by mail. You can apply for a mail ballot at https://www.lakecountyil.gov/351/Voter-Power.
