Analysis: Antioch pays $4.29 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Antioch Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.1 percent of the $1,147,374 the Antioch Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.29 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Antioch contributed $930,548 to the fund, which saw a $73,973 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $216,826, or 18.9 percent, in 2016.
