Analysis: Park City pays $5.90 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Park City Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 85.5 percent of the $421,009 the Park City Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $5.90 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Park City contributed $360,000 to the fund, which saw a $3,137 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $61,010, or 14.5 percent, in 2016.
