7. Consent Agenda

A. Approval of Minutes of the Village Board Meeting, May 21, 2018

B. Semi-Monthly Warrant Register Dated June 4, 2018 Totaling $833,698.71

C. Member Contribution to the Special Recreation Association of Central Lake

County in the Amount Not-to-Exceed $107,909

Summary: The Village of Lake Zurich is a cooperative member agency of SRACLC, which provides community based therapeutic recreation programs and services to people of all ages with disabilities or special needs. The Fiscal Year 2018 budget has $108,976 in the General Fund for this expense.

Recommended Action: Motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. (Roll Call Vote)

A. Ordinance Granting Approval of a Planned Unit Development, Rezoning, Subdivision Plat, Development Concept and Final Plan and Modifications to the Zoning Code for a Residential Subdivision (Brierwoods Estates at 23954 Miller Road) (Assign Ord. #2018-6-261) (Trustee Sprawka)

Summary: Evermore Homes is requesting approval of a Planned Unit Development to construct a single-family residential subdivision with seven 10,000 square-foot minimum lots at the northeast corner of Miller Road and Brierwoods Lane. This would require an amendment to the Zoning Map to rezone the property from R-1/2 Single Family Residential District to R-5 Single Family Residential District.

A Homeowner’s Association will be established for the maintenance of approximately 2.7 acres of wetlands on the development site, along with a backup Special Service Area to ensure proper maintenance.

The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public meeting on April 18, 2018 and voted 7-0 in favor of recommending approval of the subdivision development, subject to the conditions outlined in the staff report.

Recommended Action: A motion to approve Ordinance #2018-6-261 Granting Approval of a Planned Unit Development, Rezoning, Subdivision Plat, Development Concept and Final Plan and Modifications to the Zoning Code for a Residential Subdivision, Brierwoods Estates at 23954 Miller Road.
