City of Highland Park issued the following announcement on June 26.
North Shore Gas contractor MZI is currently installing automated meter reading (AMR) devices on customers' existing meters.
The installations will continue throughout the summer, concluding in the Fall/Winter of 2018.
Highland Park residents will receive postcards and telephone notices from North Shore Gas prior to installation.
