Grayslake Park District recently issued the following announcement.
The Ray Bandemer #Play4Ray Athletic Scholarship Program
The scholarship was created in honor of long-time Grayslake Park District employee and coach Ray Bandemer. The scholarship provides assistance to individuals of all ages who strive to participate in athletic activities.
How to Apply
- Tell us whyyou want to play
- ! (use the application form)
- Provide name, address, age and selected athletic activity
- Submit application at the Grayslake Park District Recreation Center (240 Commerce Drive)
- Applicants must reside within Grayslake Community Park District boundaries (however, Feeder Basketball players who reside within District 127 boundaries are eligible)
- Open to all ages!
- One scholarship per person per calendar year
The scholarship is funded through #Play4Ray shirt sales and direct donations to the Ray Bandemer Athletic Scholarship Program. #Play4Ray t-shirts and long-sleeve shirts are available for purchase at the Recreation Center if you want to support this great program!
