Round Lake Area Park District issued the following announcement on July 26.
Every year, the National Recreation & Park Association (NRPA) designates July as National Parks & Recreation Month to celebrate local park & recreation agencies and their communities.
Here at the Round Lake Area Park District, we are celebrating the height of our busy season in July with camps in full swing, our park maintenance staff keeping everything beautiful, and our Aquatics Center cooling off the masses!
July has also kept us entertained with our big 4th of July Celebration, free Passport to Fun events, and National Hot Dog Day!
