Vernon Hills Park District issued the following announcement on July 27.
The Mundelein/Vernon Hills Rotary Club introduces the Little Free Library in Hartmann Park, 292 Oakwood Blvd., in Vernon Hills.
Cook Library will keep the Little Free Library stocked.
The concept is for residents to take a book and also return a book in the same visit.
A future Little Free Library is planned for Westwood Park in Vernon Hills.
