Gurnee Park District issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
With a long weekend coming up, it can be hard to stay focused. Make the effort to take extra steps, go for a run or try this workout… before you kick back this Labor Day!
This work out can be done outside or from the comfort of the lake house, hotel or your home, with the use of a chair or bench. BURN BABY BURN!
Aim for 3 – 5 rounds of 12 – 15 reps per exercise OR set a timer for 25 minutes and see how many rounds you get!
Try to finish all the exercises in a row before you rest. Be sure to take your 1 – 2 minute break between sets.
Each exercise also has links to men's health and women's health to provide insight to exercise alternatives, proper form, and motion.
