Village of Lake Zurich issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
If you're like most of Lake Zurich, you care about our community. You want the future of Lake Zurich to be bright. And financially sustainable. You want to make sure you're tax dollars are getting stretched to their most efficient purpose.
But understanding government finance is not only complex.it's quite boring for most people to flip through the annual Village of Lake Zurich audit (but we do have all of those posted in the Transparency Portal if you care to).
That's why our Village Hall intern has created the Popular Annual Financial Report. An easy-to-read and easy-to-understand version of the government audit. This Report will shed light on where the money comes from and where the Village spends it.
Take 10 or 15 minutes and read through the Popular Annual Financial Report. If you would like a hard copy, they're available at Village Hall to pickup.
