Mundelein Elementary School District 75 recently issued the following announcement.
This year’s Brat Fest sold more than 1,300 meals to over 2,000 people in attendance. Over $4,200 was brought in and a profit of $2594 was earned for the PTO’s Fun Fair that evening.
“It was an outstanding day to start the school year. No other district has an event like this one,” said CSMS Principal Mark Pilut. Brat Fest is run as a community event that is meant to bring the community together.” The PTO’s Fun Fair handled the games and activities, the bounce houses, concessions and the community hallway. The gym was filled with inflatables that were all a big hit, along with a photo booth to capture some great memories. A huge thank you to all the middle school teachers and parents that went above and beyond to help plan the event!
“We are so happy to not only put on a great event, but also to make money that will go back to our students and teachers, “ said Heather Williams, Brat Fest Committee.
