Yingling appeared to outpace Idstein by a margin of 1.7 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Sam Yingling, won by a margin of 2.1 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Rod Drobinski, who received 255 votes to Yingling's 266.
