Daniel Didech led Republican Karen Feldman in votes cast in Vernon Township Precinct 247 for the District 59 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Didech appeared to outpace Feldman by a margin of 22.6 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Carol Sente, won by a margin of 17 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Leslie Munger, who received 173 votes to Sente's 244.
