Sheri Jesiel led Democrat Joyce Mason in votes cast in Antioch Township for the District 61 state House race, according to the latest vote count.
Jesiel appeared to outpace Mason by a margin of 12 percent on Tuesday in the township.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Sheri Jesiel, won by a margin of 26.4 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Loren Karner, who received 1,587 votes to Jesiel's 2,724.
