Joyce Mason led Republican Sheri Jesiel in votes cast in Warren Township for the District 61 state House race, according to the latest vote count.
Mason appeared to outpace Jesiel by a margin of 8.7 percent on Tuesday in the township.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Sheri Jesiel, won by a margin of 19.6 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Loren Karner, who received 3,743 votes to Jesiel's 5,561.
