City of Highwood issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Garbage and recycling collection next week will be Thursday January 3, due to the New Year's Day Holiday.
City Hall is closed January 1.
Real Christmas tree pick up is Thursday January 3rd and Wednesday January 9th.
No decorations or lights permitted, thanks.
