City of Waukegan issued the following announcement on Feb. 12.
Waukegan is an entitlement community eligible to receive assistance under the United States Department of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In accordance with HUD rules/regulations, the City will host a public hearing to obtain input on its proposed Amendment to the 2018 Annual Action Plan on Tuesday, February 19th at 5:05pm in Waukegan City Hall Council Chambers. The proposed amendment will be available for review and written comments may be received from February 20th ending March 22nd.
The proposed Amendment to the 2018 Annual Action Plan is a component of the 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan that identifies resources and strategies to assist in meeting the housing and community development needs.
The proposed Amendment will be available for review on the City’s website, in CDBG office on the third floor of City Hall, or at the Waukegan Public Library. Or request a copy by calling 847-599-2530.
Written comments should be sent to the CDBG Office or via email at pamela.jeffries@waukeganil.gov.
