Unpaid fines for Vernon Hills-based campaign committees totaled $10,950 in August 2018

Campaign committees in Vernon Hills collectively owe a total of $10,950 in fines, according to records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Vernon Hills were delinquent in payment for August 2018.

The Vernon Hills-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Citizens to Elect Aaron Lawlor, which owes a total of $10,000.

The total that Citizens to Elect Aaron Lawlor still owes comes from two fines of $5,000, both for a late quarterly report.
