Waukegan home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Waukegan rose by $10,606 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $105,000 - a 11.2% increase over the $94,394 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 54 homes sold in Waukegan in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Waukegan for 2017 was $3,595.75. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,303. This marks an increase of 8.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.4%.
