Long Lake home prices fall in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Long Lake fell by $8,450 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $104,000 - a 7.5% decrease over the $112,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Long Lake in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Long Lake for 2017 was $2,989.70. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,027.40. This marks an decrease of 1.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
