The data shows that 28 men and four women were released in the Round Lake zip code. The median age of the parolees was 36. The youngest parolee was a 19-year-old woman convicted of homicide in 2017, and the oldest was a 59-year-old man convicted of a financial crime or fraud in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was James Webb. He was convicted of homicide in 2010, when he was 26 years old. He is now 35.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
