ROLL CALL/CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.
BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:

ADMINISTRATION PRESENT:

2018-2019 BUDGET UPDATE
Ms. Bachar provided the Board with a 2018-2019 Update.
2019-2020 FINAL BUDGET
Overall revenues increased by 2.78% due to the 2017 property tax levy. Overall expenditures increased by 12.23% due to increased staffing. Revenues did not change from the Tentative Budget in June.
Expenditures increased by $417,385 due to staffing changes from the Tentative Budget. Changes have been made to the Education Fund, all other funds remain the same from the June Tentative Budget.
All funds are balanced budgets, revenues over expenditures, except for the Education Fund, the Operations & Maintenance Fund, and the Site & Construction Fund. The Education Fund is due to additional staffing. The Operations & Maintenance Fund is due to Build for our Future projects. The Site & Construction Fund is due to revenues received in the 2017-2018 fiscal year.
Administration is recommending approval of the 2019-2020 final budget at the September 23 Board meeting. The Finance Committee will continue discussions regarding the 2020-2021 Budget planning process and set future planning dates.
