The Village Board, staff, project partners, and members of the Buffalo Grove Fire Department gathered on July 23 to mark the start of construction for the new Fire Station 25 at 505 W Dundee Road. The facility will replace the previous station at the same address.

During construction, Station 25’s operations have moved to the old Public Works Facility on Raupp Boulevard. This arrangement is intended to ensure that emergency response services continue without interruption in the area.

According to officials, the new fire station aims to support continued delivery of emergency services without affecting local taxes. The department stated that residents can expect no change in service quality during or after construction.

"While construction is underway, Station 25 operations are running out of the old Public Works Facility on Raupp Boulevard to maintain emergency response coverage. The new Fire Station will allow our Fire Department to continue to provide the high-quality emergency services you’ve come to expect for years to come, with no impact on your taxes," a statement from the Buffalo Grove Fire Department said.
