Illinois State House District 59 issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
I will soon be heading back to the district after a successful week in Springfield. The highlights were approving a strong bill to crack down on ethylene oxide emissions in committee and on the house floor, meeting with Lake County advocates who traveled to Springfield to ask us to take action on climate change, and attending a rally in support of the Clean Energy Jobs Act. Making progress is never easy, but I am very proud to serve in a government that is making real progress toward improving lives for everyone in our community.
