Moraine Township Offers Free Income Tax Preparation
for Low-and-Moderate-Income Taxpayers
From February 8 through April 11, 2020, Moraine Township will offer free assistance to low-and-moderate-income taxpayers filing their 2019 income tax returns, as part of the IRS VITA Program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance).
Volunteers are trained and certified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to prepare basic returns for taxpayers earning less than $ 56,000 in 2019.
Appointments are available weekdays, evenings and weekends at the Moraine Township Office 800 Central Avenue Highland Park. Taxpayers are welcome to walk-in Saturdays from 9 AM to noon.
