Analysis: Lakemoor pays $1.53 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lakemoor Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 60.6 percent of the $239,730 the Lakemoor Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $1.53 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lakemoor contributed $145,213 to the fund, which saw a $148,432 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $94,518, or 39.4 percent, in 2018.
