Illinois State House District 61 issued the following announcement on Sept. 4

Yesterday I was honored to speak at the ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the new Illinois Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention center in Gurnee. It was an incredible honor to stand with Medal of Honor recipient SGT Allen Lynch who also spoke at the ceremony. As the proud daughter of an Army veteran, I congratulate the Army National Guard on this new office and welcome them to Gurnee and the 61st district!
