ROLL CALL President Frost called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. On roll call, Mr. Frost, Mr. Weisberg, Mrs. Moons, Mrs. Neault and Mrs. Shang answered. Mrs. Agrawal arrived at 7:42 p.m. Mr. Gorson was absent. Also, in attendance were Superintendent Twadell, Mr. Carney, Mr. Gobble, Recording Secretary Adamczyk and 30 guests.

SUPERINTENDENT'S INFORMATIONAL REPORT Superintendent Twadell and Principal Gobble provided an update on the Risk Mitigation Strategies and planning for second semester hybrid schedule.
APPROVAL OF HYBRID MODEL & SCHEDULE FOR SECOND SEMESTER (FIRST READING) The Board of Education was presented with a first reading on the hybrid model and schedule for second semester. The Board of Education will take final action at its next regular board meeting.
ACCEPTANCE & FILING OF AUDIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2020 Mrs. Neault moved, seconded by Mrs. Moons that the Board of Education accept and file the Audit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020 On roll call, Mrs. Neault, Mrs. Moons, Mrs. Shang, Mr. Frost, Mrs. Agrawal and Mr. Weisberg voted aye. The motion carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF ANNUAL APPLE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FOR 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR Mr. Weisberg moved, seconded by Mrs. Agrawal that the Board of Education approve the annual purchase of the Apple Equipment at a cost not to exceed $997,381.00.
Mr. Weisberg moved, seconded by Mrs. Agrawal that the approval of the annual Apple Computer Equipment for 2021-2022 school year be laid on the table. On roll call, Mr. Weisberg, Mrs. Agrawal, Mrs. Neault, Mrs. Shang, Mrs. Moons and Mr. Frost voted aye. The motion to lay on the table carried unanimously.
AUTHORIZATION OF CERTIFICATION FOR THE 2020 TAX LEVY Mr. Weisberg moved, seconded by Mrs. Neault that the Board of Education approve the 2020 Tax Levy in the amount of $112,287,689.00. On roll call, Mr. Weisberg, Mrs. Neault, Mrs. Moons, Mrs. Agrawal, Mrs. Shang and Mr. Frost voted aye. The motion carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF SURVEILLANCE TESTING AGREEMENT WITH SAFEGUARD SCREENING (FIRST READING) The Board of Education was presented with a first reading on the 4th of 6 bid packages for the East Building Addition – Phase 2. This bid package will be for the structural steel and concrete flatwork associated with the fitness center portion of our addition. The Board of Education will take final action at its next regular board meeting. The Board of Education was presented with a first reading on the pilot surveillance testing program. The Board of Education will take final action at its next regular board meeting.
FOIA REQUESTS The Board of Education was presented with one request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the status of the District’s response.
CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS Mrs. Agrawal moved, seconded by Mr. Weisberg that the Board of Education approve the Consent Agenda Items, as presented. On roll call, Mrs. Agrawal, Mr. Weisberg, Mrs. Neault, Mrs. Moons, Mrs. Shang and Mr. Frost voted aye. The motion carried unanimously.
1) Approve the special meeting, executive session and regular meeting minutes of October 19, 2020, and special meeting minutes of November 4, 2020.
2) Approval the appointment of the individuals as noted in the Agenda Booklet of November 16, 2020, for: Sarah Seidler, Student Learning Programs, as presented.
3) Accept the resignations as noted in the Agenda Booklet of November 16, 2020, for: Athina Angel, Student Learning Programs; and Kevin Crowe, Student Learning Programs, as presented.
4) Approve the recommendation to terminate the employment of Gregory Sauchuk, Security Personnel, effective October 27, 2020, as presented.
5) Approve the leaves of absence as noted in the Agenda Arts; Ryan Hutchins, Special Education; and Tamara Napolitano, Special Education, as presented.
6) Approve the appointment of the long-term substitutes as noted in the Agenda Booklet of November 16, 2020, for: Grisel Granados, World Languages; Gillian Hengels, Special Education; Su Kim, World Languages; and Tiina Oper- Arcara, World Languages, as presented.
