Lake County Board of Review Met Dec. 9.

1. Call to Order - Chair Helm called the meeting into order at 12:31 P.M.
Board Attendees: Chair Helm, Member Monie and Member Paslawsky
Staff Attendees: Glueckert, Sowul and Crawford
2. Approval of Minutes
Regular Session: December 03, 2020
The Board of Review members reviewed the minutes from their December 03, 2020 meeting.
Member Monie motioned to approve. Member Paslawsky seconded the motion. The Board members approved the minutes as presented 3-0.
3. Public Comment - None
4. Approval of Certificate of Errors
None presented. The deadline for filing certificates of error with the Clerk of the Board was October 09, 2020; a grace period was extended until December 1, 2020. Members have reviewed and approved all electronic Certificates of Error prior to this date.

Dual Attorney appeal filing for parcel 08-17-109-002.
Clerk Sowul presented the members with a multiple appeal filing for this parcel. She asked that the Board review the submission details and render a decision as to the validity of the filings.
The Board reviewed the appeal submission details and found the appeal submitted by Attorney Kingsley met all filing requirements and was timely filed. On a motion by Member Monie to approve standing and seconded by Member Paslawsky, the Board approved the appeal filed by Attorney Kingsley. The erroneous submission by Attorney Rukavina will be removed from the docket. The dual appeal filing was resolved by unanimous vote of 3-0.
Board of Review Final Hearing Dates Announced
Clerk Glueckert announced the last day for Non-Homestead hearings will be Thursday, December 10, 2020. Additionally, the last day for all Residential & Commercial hearings will be Tuesday, December 15, 2020.
6.1 Approval of assessment appeal case decisions where no hearings were conducted in the Townships of Antioch, Cuba, Fremont and Lake Villa as Decision Attachment A.
The Board reviewed the case decisions in the Townships of Antioch, Cuba, Fremont and Lake Villa as Decision Attachment A. On a motion by Member Paslawsky and seconded by Member Monie, the Board members affixed their signature and the case decisions are final by unanimous vote of 3-0.
7. Adjournment
Prior to adjourning the Board set Tuesday, December 22, 2020 as their next meeting date.
Member Monie motioned to adjourn, seconded by Member Paslawsky. The motion carried unanimously 3-0. The meeting adjourned at 12:51 P.M.
