2. Attendance

Township Attendees: Perry, Ditton, LItewski & Woodman, Barrington, Herchenback & Krapf, Barr & Wold, Lee, Feeney, Lindsay, Berens, O'Donnell, Mullin & Leafblad, Oaks, Stricklin, Healy and Davis

Guest Attendees: Illinois Property Assessment Institute: Barnett, Padgitt & Leafblad

4. Board of Review – Summary of 2020 Activity

Board Totals - 2020 Excel Status Report

77 % of all appeals filed with Attorney Representation

Decision Letters: Zion, Benton, Newport printed and mailed out the previous week. Antioch, Cuba, Fremont & Lake Villa expected to be mailed this week. Moraine, Avon, Shields and Wauconda (possibly Warren) projected mailing by December 12, 2020. All remaining townships will be finalized by year end.

Attorney Summary - 2020 Board of Review Appeal by Attorney

Report captures the Attorney and parcel counts for all appeals filed with Attorney representation.

5. CAMA Update

Tyler Townships- Entries can begin in tax year 2021; refrain from processing New Construction, HIE's or Demo's.

Non-Tyler Townships - we'll work on getting to each one shortly after their decision letters have been mailed.

SA Glueckert announced plans to establish an assessor group to discuss 2020 Board of Review Season.

Additionally, 2021 Equalization should be limited to 10% of the total township parcel counts.

6. Instructions for Assessing Property in Lake County for 2021

Due Date for 2021 Assessments: July 16, 2021

Preliminary equalization factors : Early January, 2021

Non- Tyler Townships, if you're interested in discussing joining the Tyler group please let me know. The CCAO's Office is willing to provide whatever is needed towards your transition.

PTAB Update- Successful program enhancements for 2020 in part to the contributions by township assessors. Total 2019 cases filed to date: 6073; docketed 24%! 3100 currently processed in house.
