Gurnee Park District issued the following announcement on Feb 26.

On behalf of the FitNation team we're happy to announce that our FitNation location inside Hunt Club Community Center will reopen on March 8, 2021. Only the upstairs fitness floor and indoor track will be available to FitNation members at this time. The gymnasium at Hunt Club Community Center will not be available for member or drop-in use at this time. Please note, the gymnasium at FitNation on Nations Drive is open to members only for basketball. Please review more information regarding hours of operation, available amenities and safety protocols for FitNation at Hunt Club Community Center.

FitNation at Hunt Club Community Center

• Monday - Thursday 8am - 8pm
• Friday 8am - 7pm
• Saturday - Sunday 7am - 12pm

FitNation on Nations Drive

• Monday - Thursday 5am - 9pm
• Friday 5am - 7pm
• Saturday - Sunday 7am - 2pm 

Amenities at FitNation at Hunt Club Community Center  

Available amenities are subject to change based on state restrictions and member feedback. At this time, the upstairs fitness floor and track will be open. The gymnasium at Hunt Club Community Center for all open gym options, including basketball will remain closed. Please note, the gymnasium at FitNation on Nations Drive is open to members only for basketball. Available amenities for FitNation at Hunt Club Community Center

• Fitness floor - Strength machines, free weights, cardio equipment, TRX and stretching area are available for use
• Track - Open to members. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines
• Showers - All showers will be available for use
• Towels - available in locker rooms
• Customer service - available during operational hours

Unavailable amenities for FitNation at Hunt Club Community Center

• Gymnasium - currently closed for all open gym use, including basketball. Open basketball is available to members at our Nations Drive location
• Group exercise - will not be available at our Hunt Club location. All group exercise classes will take place at FitNation on Nations Drive 

Safety Protocols

For those of you that have joined us at FitNation you will notice the same cleaning and sanitizing procedures in place at our Hunt Club location. Under the current guidelines members will be asked to wear masks at all times within the facility.

Members will also be supplied with a bottle of disinfecting spray and a towel when accessing the upper level. This spray is to be used before and after use of any machines or equipment.

• Masks are required at all times inside the fitness facility
• Spray and wipe down all equipment before and after use with your individual spray bottle and towel 
• Hand sanitization stations available for use
• Utilize directional signage to practice social distancing of 6 feet
• Please utilize door foot pulls where installed

In addition, our fitness attendants will use hospital-grade disinfectant foggers and be cleaning regularly.
