Summer Enrichment Program
The Summer Enrichment Program is a program that offers a variety of classes for students at FSD79, which may include art, language, science, or other fun topics. This program will run from June 14 to July 2 with classes from 8:30 to 10:20 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Each class will cost $50 and bus transportation can also be provided for $10/week. Registration for classes will be open from March 15 until May 14 through this link.

Summer Boost Program
The Summer Boost program is a free online program for current FSD79 students to work asynchronously with a teacher coach throughout the summer in the areas of reading and math. Through the use of Dreambox, ALEKS, and various online reading programs, teachers will check in with students in regards to their progress throughout the summer. This program will run from June 14 to July 30. There is no cost for this program. Registration for this program will be open from March 15 to May 14 through this link.

Summer Scholars Program
The Summer Scholars program is an invitation-only program that offers students the opportunity to work with a teacher in the areas of reading and math during the summer. Teachers will work with students in small groups or individually and target specific skills based on their spring NWEA MAP score. This program will run from June 14 to July 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. There is no cost for the program and students will be provided bus transportation if needed. Parents will be notified if students are invited to participate in this program.

ELL Summer Program
The ELL Summer Program is an invitation-only program that offers students with a second language the build their language skills in the areas of: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Certified English as a Second Language Teachers will work with small groups of students to build language skills. This program will run from June 14 to July 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. There is no cost for the program and students will be provided bus transportation if needed. Parents will be notified if students are invited to participate in this program.

ESY
Extended School Year (ESY) is an invitation-only program provided to qualifying students with IEPs. Students qualify for ESY at the recommendation of their IEP team. ESY services are provided by special education team members and focus on student IEP goals. This program will run from June 14 to July 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. for grades K-7 and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for students in Early Childhood. There is no cost for the program and students will be provided bus transportation if needed. Parents will be notified if students are invited to participate in this program.

Preschool At-Risk Summer Program
This program is a continuation of our At-Risk Preschool program that is offered to all students that participate in that program during the school year. The program focuses on continuing to build appropriate developmental skills for students ages 3-5. This program will run from June 14 to July 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for students. There is no cost for the program and students will be provided bus transportation if needed. Parents will be notified if students are invited to participate in this program.
