City of Park City City Council Met Feb, 18.

The City of Park City held its regular Council meeting at City Hall, 3355 Belvidere Road, Park City, Illinois. Mayor Steve Pannell called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm
RECITED PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Present: Aldermen Telle, Dennis, Bibian, Hart
In Attendance: Mayor Steve Pannell, City Attorney Peter Karlovics, City Engineer Ken Magnus
Absent: Alderman Ortega, Alderman Eaker
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:
Jennifer Guzman of 862 Catherine Ct Grayslake IL – Guzman is looking to open a location on 3454 Washington St to function as a commercial kitchen and food truck dispatch for her business. Point of sale taxes would be attributed to Park City. City Attorney Karlovics, recommending that the City move forward with a Text Amendment Zoning hearing to accommodate future necessary changes. Mayor Pannell & Attorney Karlovics will work closely with Guzman and Chris Richards (landlord) to apply for a Business License and move forward with a hearing for a text amendment. Until all zoning and licensing has been finalized, Guzman will not be penalized for not having a Business License. Attorney Karlovics will e-mail the application to the business owner and landlord to begin process.
Motioned by Alderman Bibian and seconded by Alderman Hart to Approve Consideration of the Consent Agenda by Omnibus Vote, items A through B:

A. Approval of Regular Council Meeting Minutes — February 4th, 2021
B. Reading and Approval of Bills Payable – February 18th , 2021
a. Check Number 57199 – Delfs Garage check has been voided and will be reissued with correct amount.
It was motioned by Alderman Dennis and seconded by Alderman Bibian to approve items A through B of the Consent Agenda.

NEW BUSINESS:
A. Discussion regarding a draft of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REGULATIONS IN CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE PARK CITY MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED “UNLAWFUL AND IMPROPER PARKING” TO CLARIFY PARKING REGULATIONS AND EXEMPTIONS TO SAID REGULATIONS.
Attorney Karlovics suggesting that the Ordinance be revised and amended as needed. Suggesting that City Council review the changes made and provide any suggestions for further discussion at a later meeting.
