Joint resolution for Emergency Appropriation for Vaccination Efforts from the Health Department Fund Balance.
Mark Pfister, Health Department Director, gave an overview of the grant for the vaccination effort to allocate funds to get reimbursement from FEMA.

Health Navigator Program grant.
Mark Pfister, Health Department Director, stated this grant was requested back in June, 2021. The grant will continue to allow applicants to get registered to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Joint resolution authorizing the Workforce Development Department to enter into Summer Youth Worksite Agreements with public, private or nonprofit organizations to host youth onsite as part of the Lake County Summer Youth Work Experience Program.
Jennifer Serino, Workforce Development Director, gave an overview of the Summer Youth Worksites agreements. The program will provide Worksites and support for youth 16 and older to receive their first job. Discussion ensued.

The Members' remarks was to ask questions to Mark Pfister, Health Department Director, questions in regards to the vaccination. Discussion ensued.
Member Barr stated the Bill 2798, in regards to local school boards and health departments not having the authority for decisions in regards to pandemics, can hopefully be looked at in this committee.
