Chair Simpson called the meeting to order at 10:55 a.m.

A motion was made by Member Altenberg, seconded by Member Cunningham, that this minutes be approval of minutes. Motion carried by the following roll call vote:

Aye: 7 - Vice Chair Altenberg, Member Barr, Member Casbon, Member Cunningham, Member Maine, Member Roberts and Chair Simpson

8.2 21-0987

Update on Federal Emergency Rental Assistance (FERA)

Brenda O'Connell, Community Development, gave an overview of the Federal Emergency Rental Assistance (FERA). Ms. O'Connell also gave an overview of the budget for FERA and stated the best place to refer constituents to is 211. A lengthy discussion ensued. 8.3 21-0910

Joint resolution approving the First Amendment to Program Year (PY) 2021 HUD Annual Action Plan (AAP).

Brenda O'Connell, Community Development, gave an overview of the current changes to the Annual Action Plan for HUD.

A motion was made by Member Altenberg, seconded by Member Maine, that this resolution be approved and referred on to the Financial and Administrative Committee. Motion carried by the following roll call vote:

Aye: 7 - Vice Chair Altenberg, Member Barr, Member Casbon, Member Cunningham, Member Maine, Member Roberts and Chair Simpson

9. County Administrator's Report

There was no County Administrator's Report.

10. Executive Session

There was no executive session.

11. Members' Remarks

Vice Chair Altenburg stated there are still many vaccination sites open throughout the County.

Chair Simpson stated there are many possibilities for rewards for being vaccinated. Member Maine stated there are options for child care while parents get vaccinated.

Mark Pfister, Health Department Executive Director, stated Lake County is the now the third most vaccinated County in the State.

Chair Simpson declared the meeting adjourned at 11:41 a.m.
