City of Highwood City Council met Aug. 17.

CALL TO ORDER By Mayor Pecaro at 7:30 P.M.
1. Roll Call
Present: Aldermen Levi, Slavin, Falberg, Fiore, Peterson and Hospodarsky Also Present: City Manager Coren, City Attorney Jablecki and Administrative Assistant Litjens
2. Pledge of Allegiance
All present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Review of Minutes to be Ap proved
3.1. Moved by Alderman Peterson and seconded by Alderman Levi to approve the minutes for City Council: August 03, 2021. All present voting aye, by voice vote, motion carried.
3.2. Moved by Alderman Peterson and seconded by Alderman Levi to approve the minutes for Committee of the Whole: August 03, 2021. All present voting aye, by voice vote, motion carried.

5. Approval of Warrant List:
5.1. Moved by Alderman Peterson and seconded by Alderman Levi to approve the 08/17/2021 AP Warrant List for payment. All present voting aye, by roll call vote, motion carried.

12.1. Moved by Alderman Peterson and seconded by Alderman Falberg to approve a Resolution Approving an ARC Application for Façade Revisions at 406 Green Bay Road subject to the use of common brick in coordination with Staff. All present voting aye, by roll call vote, motion carried.
12.2. Moved by Alderman Falberg and seconded by Alderman Peterson to approve an Ordinance of the City of Highwood, Lake County, Illinois, Providing for the Issuance, in One or More Series, Not to Exceed $10,250,000 General Obligation Bonds, Series 2021, Providing the Details of Such Bonds and for a Levy of Taxes Sufficient to Pay the Principal of and Interest on Such Bonds, and Related Matters. Alderman Levi abstained, all others voting aye, by roll call vote, motion carried.
12.3. Moved by Alderman Falberg and seconded by Alderman Peterson to approve an Ordinance Authorizing the Mayor to Execute an Assignment and Assumption of Contract for the Purchase of 420-424 Sheridan Road and a Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of Highwood and Highwood Development LLC Concerning the Redevelopment of Downtown Highwood. All present voting aye, by roll call vote, motion carried.
12.4. Moved by Alderman Hospodarsky and seconded by Alderman Peterson to approve an Ordinance Approving Certain Amendments to the Highwood City Code Pertaining to Fees and Charges and Sections Related Thereto and Amending the Comprehensive Fee Schedule subject to clarification to hourly fees. All present voting aye, by roll call vote, motion carried.
