Lincolnshire Increased Holiday DUI Enforcement (Lincolnshire, Ill) The Lincolnshire Police Department participated in a statewide holiday traffic
enforcement campaign with a focus on impaired drivers from December 17, 2021, through January 3, 2022.
The safety campaign encompassed three weekends leading into the New Year. Lincolnshire officers conducted two additional patrols totaling 12 hours.
During the 12 hours of additional enforcement, 30 traffic stops were initiated, including:
- Nine speeding citations - Five other traffic citations
- 16 written warnings
The Lincolnshire Police Department was joined by the Illinois State Police and more than 160 local police
and sheriff’s departments for the increased enforcement effort.
