Rising home prices in Antioch in the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Antioch rose by $74,000 while total sales increased by 61.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 121 homes sold, with a median sale price of $276,000 - a 36.6% increase over the $202,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 75 homes sold in Antioch in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Antioch for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,985, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
