Grayslake home prices rose in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Grayslake rose by $17,000 while total sales increased by 1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 212 homes sold, with a median sale price of $257,500 - a 7.1% increase over the $240,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 210 homes sold in Grayslake in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Grayslake for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,340, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
