Report: Township High School District 113 School District spent $25,625 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Township High School District 113 was up 5.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $24,256 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $25,625 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 3,739 to 3,466 students over the same period.

Township High School District 113's spending in 2019-20 was 76.8 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
