What happened to the median home price in Zion during the first half of 2022?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Zion rose by $20,850 while total sales increased by 205.7 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 214 homes sold, with a median sale price of $172,850 - a 13.7 percent increase over the $152,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Zion in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Zion for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,147, approximately three percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
