Committee action approving the Financial & Administrative Special Committee on COVID-19 Pandemic Recovery and Investment from June 3, 2022.

REGULAR AGENDA

Presentation regarding status of the County’s ARPA-funded Affordable Housing Projects and Food Distribution Programs.

∙ At the previous Committee meeting, members requested an update on the status of the Affordable Housing Projects that were previously allocated ARPA funding.

∙ Staff will provide an update on the ARPA-funded affordable housing projects and the food distribution programs.

Presentation regarding results from Lake County’s public engagement initiatives.

∙ In working with the Committee, staff provided numerous opportunities to Lake County residents to provide public input over the last 2 months. An online survey was available, two in-person meetings were conducted, and one virtual engagement was conducted.

∙ Staff has compiled the information from the engagement period and will present a summary of findings.

Presentation, discussion and Committee direction regarding external project request process for ARPA funding.

∙ Staff will review the previously presented draft external request form and discuss the timeline for the proposed process.

Presentation, discussion and Committee direction regarding proposed ARPA allocation amendments, funding extensions, and new items for Committee consideration.

∙ The Committee previously acted on a number of projects and programs for ARPA funding allocation that were ultimately approved by the Lake County Board for funding.

∙ Staff will review additional projects for consideration, discuss amendments to current allocation amounts for certain projects, and discuss possible extensions for projects that were limited in direct funding.
