Native American Journey will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Mellody Farm Nature Preserve. Join the Lake Forest Open Lands Association (LFOLA) and guest educator, author, and performer Kim Sigafus as they take attendees on a journey through the Native American way of life. Dressed in her native garb, Sigafus will teach attendees the history and culture of the Indigenous people who once called the Illinois area home. The Ojibwe people's culture and history will be explored through music, craft, native plants, and language. Seating is limited to 12 participants. The price of admission is $75 for LFOLA members and $85 for non-members. Mellody Farm Nature Preserve is located at 350 N. Waukegan Road in Lake Forest.
